Garay marks 200 top flight appearances with excellent performance
Ezequiel Garay marked his 200th Primera División appearance with a stellar display against FC Barcelona, helping his side to victory with his defensive contributions at Mestalla.
The Argentine would stifle the likes of Antoine Griezmann and Leo Messi with blocks and steals, not putting a foot wrong as he defended against one of the most potent attacking sides in LaLiga.

Some 91 of his top flight appearances have come in a Valencia CF shirt, beginning with his club debut in September of 2016 in which he scored against Real Betis in a 2-3 home defeat.
Prior to his arrival at Mestalla, he also featured in LaLiga for Racing Santander, Starting on February 26th, 2006, when he played in a 2-2 draw at Mendizorroza, he ran out 84 times for the northern Spanish club in league action. In the 2006/07 season he was the most prolific goalscoring defender in Europe's big leagues, with 9 goals.
Garay also played 25 games for Real Madrid, adding to an impressive tally that reached 200 this past Saturday.
